Spring Dumpster Day

Saturday,

8am-noon

We will have two dumpsters at the corner of 42nd & Oak. One dumpster will be for yard waste (leaves, grass clippings, branches, etc) and the other dumpster will be for everything else.

We can’t accept hazardous waste (like paint, chemicals) and tires.

We’re looking for volunteers to help people unload materials into the dumpsters and to canvas the neighborhood for additional items that can go in the dumpsters. If you have a pickup truck suitable for hauling, that would be appreciated as well. Please let me know if you would like to volunteer your time or vehicle.

This is a service to neighborhood residents provided by the Southmoreland Neighborhood Association. If you’re not already a member, you can join when you drop off your items - memberships are $10 for seniors, $20 for residents and $50 for businesses.

As usual, intrepid neighborhood volunteer Clark Achelpohl showed up with his pickup truck, and cruised the neighborhood for the entire morning picking up trash items from all of our streets and alleys.

Thanks Clark!!
