Southmoreland
Sidewalk Program
43rd
& Main TIF is providing approx. $230K to repair our
sidewalks - approx. 31,600 sq. ft. of sidewalks will be
replaced.
The project has just
begun. They have started on the south end of the neighborhood
and are working their way north. A pink dot spray painted
on a section of sidewalk indicates the section is targeted
for replacement, just like the picture below:

The segments depicted above are
on McGee Street between 43rd & 44th Streets. We have
many similar situations like this throughout
the neighborhood.
The slideshow below depicts a few of the sidewalks sections already replaced.
This isn't nearly all of them, but it will give you an idea of how the new sections
look and where some of them are located. We'll update this slideshow as the project
moves throughout the neighborhood.
